Below are quotes from the participants at today’s Final Press Conference.

Austin McBroom

“I feel great, this fight is long overdue. We’ve been going back and forth for a year now and there’s real smoke between us. “

“I’m chill and relaxed and here to get this W. Looking forward to a huge night in front of my supporters. It’s a blessing to have my brother on the card with me, we’ve been training together for the last four months and it’s brought our family closer together.”

“I’m not looking past Gib but he’s just somebody who’s in my way. I’m going to bring my A game and he’s going to bring his. He’s going to be aggressive and be in shape but that’s not going to win the fight.”

“I’m going to embarrass him, he’s not lasting longer than Bryce Hall.”

AnEson Gib

“Training camp is done; the fight is on Saturday and I’m here to take out the CEO. I’m here on a mission.”

“I’ve had five fights so for him to take me lightly is a very dangerous game. I have the advantage in experience which will lead me to victory.”

“The engine is max and he’s going to find that out on Saturday night. He’s going to feel my power the whole fight.”

Fernando Vargas (Special Guest)

“It’s a blessing to be here and welcome in this new era of boxing. I’m here to watch these guys get down on Saturday night. Social media is the new generation that we are in. Originally, I didn’t want my kids to fight but who’s going to tell them that they can’t be like their Dad? When they put it like that, I’ve got to support them. I’m very excited for the future of boxing.”

Nick Young

‘I’m just here chilling. BlueFace don’t want to fight me. I don’t know too much about this new opponent.

“This new guy is some ugly dude. I’m just ready to go. I’m going to put this guy to sleep. You can call me the ‘Pajama Man’, I got the ‘Pajama Knockout Punch.’ And he’s going to sleep. I’m only me, I’m Swaggy P.”

Malcolm Minikon (new opponent for Nick Young)

‘I got the call and I’m ready to go. I don’t care who I’m fighting, I’m going to win on Saturday night. It’s been since March that I’ve fought and I can’t wait to put on a show. “

Le’Veon Bell

“I think this is a great opportunity and I’m very happy for it. I think my football skills and the work that I’ve put in the boxing gym will show on Saturday night. My training has been terrific and I’ll be well prepared for whatever Adrian brings to the ring.”

Adrian Peterson

“Initially I was fighting someone else but I said yes to Le’Veon immediately. I’ve really learned in the gym how to pick your shots and throw punches accurately. I’ve been able to transition to boxing very well.”

Landon McBroom

“This is exciting, ready to put on a show and make my pro debut. I don’t think he realizes what’s happening. I’m longer, I’m bigger and I’m going to take advantage on Saturday night.”

Adam Saleh

“I’m very grateful to Social Gloves, Saturday night is going to be fireworks. I think it’s cool that me and him respect each other. He’s a little taller than me but I’m ready for the fight. I’m going to show him there’s levels to this.”

Cory Wharton

“I missed the media workouts as I was working on a movie in Atlanta but I’ll be there on Saturday night ready to rumble. I don’t have any respect for Chase and I’m just glad I have the opportunity to settle this score on Saturday night. We’re ready and prepared to put this game plan in action.”

Chase DeMoor

“It was disrespectful of him not to come to the media workouts and I’m going to take out my anger on Saturday night. He’s treating this like a joke and not taking this seriously.”

Marco Deckmann

“I’m a warrior, I was ready to fight on July 30  and I’m ready to fight on Saturday night. I’m ready to come here on Saturday night and get another win. This event is a great collaboration between Social Gloves and NextGen.”

Mathias Radcliffe

‘I’m super excited for Saturday night, I just got down with my most recent win three weeks ago and I’m in great shape. It was a dominating performance and I can’t wait to go out there and do it again. I don’t think we’ll need the judges for this one.”

Jay Silva

“I’m been training very hard for my pro debut and look forward to seeing all the hard work payoff. I don’t know much about my opponent, I’ll just listen to my trainers on fight night and take it from there.”

Luis Schwenke

“I’ve heard of Jay Silva for a while, I’ve watched a lot of his amateur fights and have respect for him. We’ve put together a solid game plan and the team is ready to go.”

Jerry Bradford

“It’s a great opportunity for me on Saturday night to fight at the Banc of California Stadium. Happy to be back here fighting in Los Angeles and ready to put on a great show for everyone.”
