Netflix, in a bold move with Most Valuable Promotions, announced their inaugural heavyweight boxing event. The headline? Jake Paul, with a record of 9-1, 6 KOs, locks horns with the legend Mike Tyson, boasting a 50-6, 44 KOs track record. This clash is set to light up the digital waves, streaming worldwide on Netflix from the colossal AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, this coming July 20, 2024.

For Paul, this fight is the peak of his boxing journey so far, coming off the back of impressive knockouts against Ryan Bourland and Andre August. Now, he’s up against Tyson, a beast in the ring with a history of sending opponents to dreamland.

Paul quipped, “Who would’ve thought? From viral KO of Nate Robinson under Tyson’s watch, now I’m in the ring with the man himself. We’ve hustled MVP from the ground up, now we’re setting up the showdown of the century on Netflix, in the biggest NFL stadium, no less. You’d be nuts to miss it. It’s me against the heavyweight legend, Tyson. Time to show what I’m made of.”

Tyson, the knockout king with a streak of 37 wins at his prime, didn’t mince his words. “Looking forward to teaching young Paul a lesson at the AT&T Stadium. From sharing the undercard to this – it’s going to be a blast showing him what real boxing is about.”
