Boxing Tonight: Jake Paul - Nate Diaz: Start Time, TV & Streaming

Over the past eighteen months, the much-anticipated fight between Paul and Diaz has been brewing, fuelled by their heated verbal exchanges. With a record of 6-1, including 4 knockouts, Paul is on a quest to bounce back from his recent defeat against Tommy Fury, decided by a split decision. More driven than ever, this Cleveland native boxer is eyeing his seventh victory in professional boxing, aiming to put an end to the naysayers’ chatter. Speaking to Fight Hype, Jake Paul said:

“We spoke in May and I remember saying how I felt like a real boxer after the fight with Tommy. It’s interesting how a loss can give you more conviction and set you on a path. This fight has made me stronger, better, and more focused than ever. I couldn’t be happier, and for that, I thank Tommy,” Jake reflected.

Even after his loss to Tommy, Jake’s ambition remains unchanged. His goal? To become a world champion.

“My ambition of becoming a world champion hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s solidified. With the experience I’m gaining, the work I’m putting in, and the tools at my disposal, I believe I’m well on my way. It’s a matter of putting in the thousands of repetitions necessary to achieve this dream,” he affirmed.

Jake believes that experiencing loss is a part of the journey, and it can even strengthen the bond between a fighter and their fans.

“It was strange. I think my loss actually made my brand bigger. I showed a vulnerable, human side of myself that perhaps wasn’t visible before. I’m now showing people how to bounce back from a loss, how to come back stronger, how not to be defeated by life. Maybe that’s gained me some respect,” he pondered.

Jake explained the rationale behind his decision to fight Nate next, citing his popularity and current prominence.

“Nate has a massive name. He’s been a big pay-per-view draw in the UFC. I haven’t yet fought a massive pay-per-view draw in their prime, and that’s exciting. Plus, we’ve had some online banter and have wanted to fight for a long time. The stars have finally aligned,” he shared.

Jake gave his prediction for the upcoming KSI vs Tommy match.

“I think Tommy knocks him out in less than five rounds,” he stated.

On the other side of the ring, we have Nate Diaz, the MMA star turned boxer, ready to bring his 17-year career expertise to the canvas. Known for his relentless self-belief and unwavering loyalty to his team, Diaz has established himself as a beloved figure in pop culture and one of the most sought-after free agents in combat sports history. A seasoned veteran with 22 MMA wins, Diaz’s iconic moment was a knockout punch sequence that led to Conor McGregor’s first loss in the US.
