The press conference will be hosted by renowned combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani at 1:00PM CDT at the American Airlines Center, offering the first opportunity for fans to hear from both fighters ahead of their upcoming bout on August 5th. The press conference will be open to media only, but journalists and fans alike can tune into the event virtually on Jake Paul’s, Nate Diaz’s, and DAZN Boxing’s YouTube channels. After 18 months of public jabs and a back-stage fight between the two camps, the two fighters are more eager than ever to go face-to-face ahead of August 5th. As Diaz faces his first test since leaving the UFC, and Paul seeks redemption following his split-decision loss against Tommy Fury, tensions will be high, with neither fighter holding back in their pre-fight confrontation. Paul v. Diaz will be an eight round fight contested at 185 lbs. with 10-ounce gloves. The event will be distributed and co-produced globally by DAZN PPV and made available on all devices, platforms, cable, and satellite PPV providers around the world.
