Misfits Boxing and DAZN have cranked up the excitement for their next event in Newcastle, adding two more title fights, a last man standing pro tournament, and four additional bouts. Fresh off the “huge” X Series 17 bash in Dublin, they’re marching into the Vertu Motors Arena on September 14 with the MF & DAZN: X Series 18 – Stake Pro Tournament Card.
The main attraction? MFB Middleweight champion Elle Brooke squaring off against Jenny Savage—a fight that was green-lit during the Miami X Series 16 broadcast. But hold on, there’s more meat to this fight night. The first-ever Pro Stake Tournament will throw four pro light heavyweight fighters into a single-night elimination frenzy.
First up in the semi-finals, Idris Virgo clashes with Fes Batista, followed by Chris Avila against Benson Henderson. The victors of these semi-finals will duke it out later that evening to become the inaugural Stake Pro Tournament champion.
And what’s a fight night without some title defenses? MFB Female Cruiserweight champion Jully Pocca will defend her title against former bare-knuckle brawler Crystal Pittman. Meanwhile, Nikki Hru and Carla Jade will vie for the MFB Female Lightweight championship.
Fresh off his win over Ace Musa in Miami, LilCraCra will face Joey Knight in a semi-final bout of the MFB Lightweight Tournament. And let’s not forget the grudge match between online football rivals Lewis Bowden and George ‘Stokey’, vying for social media supremacy.
Ashley Rak-Su returns to the ring to face Tristan Hamm in a cruiserweight showdown, while the heavyweight curtain-raiser features Big Tobz against Kelz.
Mams Taylor, Co-President of Misfits Boxing, boasted about the lineup: “The Stake Pro Tournament Card is an absolute monster, with four title fights in one night!”
Kalle Sauerland, also Co-President, echoed the enthusiasm, asserting that the event could rank among the best X Series ever. “Elle Brooke is back for another fearless showdown in the headline event,” he stated, promising an undercard brimming with action.
